Yvonne Alice Prather Cramer Roberts Cove, LA - Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at a 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Leo IV Catholic Church in Roberts Cove for Yvonne Alice Prather Cramer, 75, who died Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA. Interment will be in the St. Leo IV Cemetery in Roberts Cove, LA. Fr. Kevin Bordelon will be the Celebrant and Fr. Paul Broussard will be the Con-Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Mrs. Yvonne Cramer, known as "Granny" to those around her was an active member of St. Leo's Catholic Church of Roberts Cove. Loyal and loving to her community by volunteering lots of her time and energy to Christian Care, Special Olympics, other non - profit organizations, and even playing Mrs. Claus at Sonic in Rayne and Crowley. She dedicated lots of her time to incorporating her faith into Christian arts and crafts. Mrs. Yvonne was loyally and selflessly devoted to her friends, family, and faith. She consistently put everyone's needs above her own. A selfless and devoted servant of the lord, everyone was a friend in her eyes, no one a stranger. She was a faithful, devoted, and loving wife, mom, and grandmother. She can finally be reunited with baby Michael in Heaven. May she rest in peace and bless her soul. Survivors include her husband, Michael Cramer, three daughters, Connie Cramer Melzer and spouse Chris Melzer, Lisa Cramer, Angela Cramer, two sons, Chad Cramer and spouse Sherry Cramer, Fred Cramer and spouse Catherine Cramer, 16 grandchildren, Jonathon Coats, Emily Coats, Mikie Coats, Burton Coats, Lauren Cramer, Paige Cramer, Ian Cramer, Cody Melzer, Anna Claire Melzer, Eli Melzer, Gabriel Cramer, William Cramer, Frederick Cramer, II, Caroline Cramer, Lily Gauthier, Jared Gauthier, one great granddaughter, Brooklyn Coats, three sisters, Georgie Prather, Johnnie Olinger and spouse Ray Olinger, Cynthia Robertson and spouse Lester Robertson, and one brother, Burton Prather and spouse Cindy Prather, one brother in law, Johnny Heinen. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Cramer, II, father, John Prather, mother, Jeanette Ducote Prather, sister, Jeanette Prather Heinen. Pallbearers will be Jonathon Coats, Mikie Coats, Burton Coats, Ian Cramer, Cody Melzer, Eli Melzer, Gabriel Cramer, William Cramer, Frederick Cramer, II, and Jared Gauthier. A Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 6:30 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.
