Rose LaCroix Fontenot Rayne - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. for Rose LaCroix Fontenot, 87 who died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at her residence in Rayne, LA. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Andrus Fontenot of Rayne, one daughter, Pat Ann Fontenot of Rayne, two sons, Bobby and wife Joy Lasseigne Fontenot of Tomball, TX, Jimmy and wife Norellie McFalls Fontenot of Rayne, eight grandchildren, Robby Fontenot and wife Mandi of Humble, TX, Renee Pisklak and husband John of Houston, TX, Michael Fontenot and wife Taylor of Fort Collins, CO, Mark Fontenot and wife Caroline of Talking Rock, GA, Ryan Fontenot and wife Ali of Denver, CO, Kyle Fontenot and wife Lauren of Lafayette, Tyler "T.J." Fontenot and wife Lauren of Rayne, Kayla Fontenot of Rayne, two step grandchildren, Erin Swim of Phoenix, AZ, Aislian Swim Seal of Seattle, WA, five great grandchildren, three brothers, Leo LaCroix and wife Carol of Rayne, Martin LaCroix and wife Mona of Rayne, Alex LaCroix and wife Linda of Rayne. She was preceded in death by parents, Alex LaCroix and Claudia Cormier LaCroix, three brothers, Francis LaCroix, Cleo LaCroix, Rufus LaCroix, Sr., three sisters, Irene L. Junot, Claudette L. Richard, Dorothy L. Duhon. She was born Tuesday, January 19, 1926 in Rayne, LA, Daughter of the late Alex LaCroix and the late Claudia Cormier LaCroix. Mrs. Fontenot was a member of Catholic Daughters of America, St. Joseph Ladies Altar Society and Lay Carmelites. A rosary will be recited Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home Inc. in Rayne, LA. Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Altar Society in Rayne, LA .
