Leo Wade Meche Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire, Monday, July 22, 2013 at 3:00 pm for Leo Wade Meche, 77 who died Saturday, July 20, 2013. Interment will be in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Catherine Daigle Meche; four daughters, Cindy Castille and companion Eddie Shields, Kimberly Rodriguez and husband Santiago "Willie", Jamie Hanley and husband Steven and Megan Muller and husband Jared; three sons, Keith Meche and wife Denise, Christopher John Meche and wife Terri and Ronnie Meche and wife Cathy; 20 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; one brother, John Meche; and one sister, Anna Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents Lucien and Ella LeBlanc Meche; one grandchild, Steven Wayne Castille; and 9 brothers and sisters. He was born in Rayne, LA, son of Lucien and Ella LeBlanc Meche. Friends will be received Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 12:00 pm until 9:00 pm & Monday, July 22, 2013 from 8:00 am until 2:30 pm at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA.
