Edese Faul Castille Mire - Funeral services will be held at Assumption of the BVM Catholic Church, Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. for Edese Faul Castille, 90 who died Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, LA.. Interment will be in the Assumption of the BVM Cemetery, Mire, LA. Surviving are two daughters, Ramona C. Hagood and husband Mark Hagood of Spring, TX, Charlene C. Richard and husband Patrick Richard of Mire, two sons, Ronald J. Castille and wife Vanola Melancon Castille of Mire, Carl J. Castille and wife Janet Ruby Castille of Houston, TX, eleven grandchildren, Travis Castille, Wally Castille, Kasey Meaux, Rhonda C. Payne, Crystal Hagood, Chris Hagood, Laura C. Hazen, Dawn C. McIntyre, Matt Castille, Nicole R. Buller, Ryan Richard, six great grandchildren, Josh Castille, Taylor Castille, Lilly Meaux, Seth Meaux, Katherine Meaux, Emery Meaux, four step grandchildren, fifteen step great granchildren, one step great great child, one sister and godchild, Mercy'd Faul Prejean of Carencro, godchildren, Rebecca "Becky" Faul, two sister-in-laws, Vivian A Faul of Mire, Alice Ray Roger of Ossun, one brother-in-law, Logan Prejean, Sr. of Carencro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix John Castille, parents, Charles Faul and Euchriste Thibodeaux Faul, one sister, Elvina Faul Prejean, three brothers, Allen Faul, Martin Faul and Merlin Faul. She was born Saturday, April 29, 1922 in Coulee Croche, LA, daughter of the late Charles Faul and the late Euchriste Thibodeaux Faul. Mrs. Edese was the matriarch of the Faul family. She was a avid gardener and loved quilting. She will be sadley missed. She was a member of Assumption of the B.V.M. Altar Society in Mire, LA. A rosary will be recited Monday, March 25, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, March 26, 2013 and 10:00 a.m. by the Assumption of the B.V.M. Ladies Altar Society at Gossen Funeral Home. Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Monday, March 25, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m..
