Gregory Louis Hebert Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at a 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Gregory Louis Hebert, 73, who died Friday, July 22, 2022 at his residence in Rayne, LA. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne, LA. Rev. Brent Smith, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include his wife, Shelia Richard Hebert, daughter, Kimela Hebert Piper and spouse Daniel Piper, His little Pookie, Kylie Jo Hoffpauir, two stepsons, Chad Matte and companion Tony Gordon, Curt Matte and spouse Alexandra Matte, six grandchildren, Michael Bradley Piper and Victoria Monique Piper, Holden Michael Matte, Heath David Matte, Cohen Wade Matte, Caroline Alezandra Matte, three sisters/godmother, Helen Hebert Menard and spouse Carol Menard, Theresa Hebert Cronan and spouse Timothy Paul Cronan, Beth Hebert and long time family friend Dilwena York, three brothers, Raymond Philip Hebert and spouse Karen Hebert, Geoffery Hebert and spouse Mona Hebert, Timothy Hebert and spouse Deborah Hebert, father in law, Lucien Richard, brother in law, Larry Richard and spouse Mary Richard, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father, Leland Paul Hebert, Sr., mother, Hilegarde Zaunbrecher Hebert, brother, Leland Paul "T-Boy" Hebert, mother in law, Jo Ann Richard, sisters in law, Belinda Richard Broussard, Alberta Cramer Hebert, Camella Borne Hebert. Pallbearers will be Holden Matte, Heath Matte, Matt Hebert, Zach Hebert, Allen Hebert, Thomas Hebert, Phil Hebert and Michael Piper. Honorary pallbearers will be Cohen Matte. A Rosary will be prayed Monday, July 25, 2022 at 6:00 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.
