Donald Joseph Vincent Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at a 1:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Donald Joseph Vincent, 70, who died Monday, January 31, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in the Abshire Cemetery in Kaplan, LA. Rev. Clint Trahan will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include his wife, Connie Vincent, daughter, Donna Comeaux and spouse Joe Pete, two sons, Brett Vincent and spouse Bridget, Jim D. Vincent, six grandchildren, Blaire Comeaux, Damon Comeaux and spouse McKenzi, Alexis Vincent and companion Landon Blanchard, Kameron Vincent, Seth Vincent, Evan Guidry, 12 great grandchildren, two brothers, Pat Thibodeaux, and Wesley "Jr" Thibodeaux. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Dudley Vincent, mother, Ethel Mary Spaetgens, and brother, Kermit Thibodeaux. Mr. Vincent was a diesel mechanic and previously coached girls' softball. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, raising his animals and watching sports. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Friday from 8:00 am until the time of services.
