Agnes Irene Nugent Hanks Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 2:30 pm at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Agnes Irene Nugent Hanks, 78, who died Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Mausoleum in Rayne, LA. Deacon Denis LaCroix with St. Joseph Catholic Church will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include her husband, John Larry Hanks, five children, Jason Hanks, Keanon Hanks and fiancé Michelle Martin, Lori Hanks Mackey and spouse James Vance Mackey, III, Eric Hanks and spouse Nicole Hanks, Mitchell Hanks and spouse Christina Hanks, fourteen grandchildren, Thomas Hanks, Tyler Hanks, Carley Hanks, Chelsie Hebert, Allie Keowen, Kalen Hanks, Korrin Espiga, Madison Mackey, Ross Mackey, Wyatt Hanks, Jackson Hanks, Jakob Hanks, Andrew Hanks, Aybree Hanks, six great grandchildren, one sister, Zenoble Nugent Koury, four brothers, Alden Nugent, Sr., Albert Nugent, Ardell Nugent and spouse Patty Nugent, John Nugent, Jr.. She was preceded in death by father, John Joseph Nugent, mother, Mabel Stutes Nugent. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Thomas Hanks, Tyler Hanks, Kalen Hanks, Ross Mackey, Wyatt Hanks, Jakob Hanks.
