Taylor Brooke Price Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at a 1:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Taylor Brooke Price, 33, who died Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne, LA. Rev. Brent Smith, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Taylor was a 2007 graduate of Rayne High School and obtained her college degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2011. Her generous heart could be felt by anyone she came in contact with. She had a special gift of not only seeing the good in people but bringing out the best in them as well. Taylor was an avid lover of guns and the outdoors. She spent most of her time crawfishing for her father, bartending, and working at gun shops which helped her establish her immense gun collection. She had quite an adventurous streak. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She knew how to have the most fun and always brought life to the party! Her love for guns were only surpassed by the love she had for her family. She shared an unbreakable bond with her parents and their relationship was like no other. She also had a special bond with her Granny whom she loved deeply. Taylor was selfless and always put others first. Her tough exterior never fooled anyone on how loving and caring she was. Her strength is truly inspiring. Survivors include her parents, James and Tessa Meche Price, sister, Ashley Price and fiance Ricky Gray, niece, Saylor Daigle, nephew, Adrien Price, maternal grandmother, Saybel Gary Meche, uncle, Brysen Meche and spouse Katie, two aunts, Kristine Price Meche and spouse Troy, Joni Price, godmother and cousin, Amber Meche Leger and spouse Chad, godfather, Terry Kibodeaux, cousins, Stony Meche, Toye Meche Hightower, Justus Meche, Flint Meche and spouse Whitney, Leif Meche and spouse Avin, Jade Meche, Kelli Meche Porrier and spouse Alex. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Lennes Meche, paternal grandfather, James E. Price, paternal grandmother, Yvonne Comeaux Price, three uncles, Billy Price, Mike Meche, Brady Meche and niece, Parker Daigle. A Rosary will be prayed Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 6:30 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm and on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm.
