Sapha Lee Miller Bergeron Mire, LA - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at a 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire, LA for Sapha Lee Miller Bergeron, 86, who died Sunday August 4, 2024 at The Ellington Nursing Home in Rayne, LA. Interment will be in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery Mausoleum in Mire, LA. Rev. Msgr. Russell Harrington will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include her son, Jamie Bergeron and companion Cheslie Hawkins of Mire, four daughters, Mona Bergeron Savoie and spouse Mike Savoie of Lafayette, Deanette Bergeron Simoneaux and companion Russ Louviere of New Iberia, Sherlyn Bergeron Colomb and spouse Karl Colomb of Youngsville, Nicky Bergeron Fontenot and spouse Kevin Fontenot of Lafayette, six grandchildren, Marisa Talbert, Jake Simoneaux, Claire Domingue, Kevin Colomb, Kelsey Delcambre, Cameron Nugent, fourteen great-grandchildren, Jackson, Maddox, Kennedy, Aniston and Beckett Tolbert, Drew and Mina Simoneaux, Avery and Wyatt Domingue, Ainslee Delcambre, Emlyn Nugent, Lane Richard, Olivia Fontenot, Will Fontenot, two sisters-in-law, Barbara Bergeron and Stella Bergeron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Joseph Bergeron, parents, Saul Miller and Mercedes Prejean Miller, three brothers, Filton Miller and spouse Patsy Miller, Wilton Miller, Paul Prejean and spouse Winnie Prejean. Pallbearers will be Jamie Bergeron, Kevin Colomb, David Domingue, Cole Delcambre, Austin Anderson, Carl Stelly. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Savoie, Russ Louviere, Karl Colomb, Kevin Fontenot. A Rosary will be prayed Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 11:00 am in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. The Bergeron family would like to thank Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital ICU floor for their loving care giving to their mom during these last days. Dr. Neil Duhon and Dr. Daniel Duhon for their years of putting up with mom and her sassiness during all of her health issues. The Ellington staff and employees went above and beyond for our mom during these last 6 months.
