Ronald Brian "Ronnie" Thibodeaux Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at a 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Ronald Brian "Ronnie" Thibodeaux, 61, who died Saturday April 8, 2017 at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley LA, surrounded by his loving family. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne, LA. Rev. Samuel Fontana, Associate Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include wife, Kathy Thibodeaux, son, Jonas Thibodeaux and wife Britney Hebert Thibodeaux, three daughters, Desiree' Thibodeaux and companion Vallen Charles, Farah Thibodeaux Cormier and husband Matthew Cormier, Kassie Thibodeaux and companion Nick Gilbert, seven grandchildren, Joshua Hebert, Ryland Charles, Carter Charles, Kallee-Jane Charles, Eleanor Thibodeaux, Annalee Cormier, Baby Collan Cormier (Arriving in June), brother, Reggie Thibodeaux and wife Joan Dupont Thibodeaux, mother-in-law, Maudra Labbe Duhon, two brother-in-laws, Jasper Labbe and wife Donna Labbe, Carl Labbe, three sister-in-laws, Katie Labbe Meche and husband Brysen Meche, sister-in-law, Vicky Labbe Vafai and husband Mehdi Vafai, Melissa Labbe, Many Loving Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Ronald Joseph Thibodeaux and Margie Melancon Thibodeaux, sister, Pamela Ann Thibodeaux, maternal grandparents, Theo Gene Melancon and Ethel Melancon, paternal grandparents, Esley Thibodeaux and Angelle Thibodeaux, sister-in-law, Cindy Duhon Labbe. Pallbearers will be Mehdi Vafai, Vallen Charles, Matt Cormier, Nick Gilbert, Flint Meche, Leo Labbe, Damon Labbe, Daxx Thibodeaux, and Rusty Melancon. Ronnie was a loving husband, dad, and grandfather who gave his all to make sure everyone was happy. Spending time, traveling and eating out with his family was his passion in life. He was a life long fan of the New Orleans Saints Football team. He loved watching his grandsons play sports and enjoyed cooking and playing doctors with his granddaughters. He was the type of person that went out of his way to help anyone in need; such a giving, loyal, unselfish man but most of all honesty was his true characteristic. Ronnie was a State Licensed Electrician who dedicated his life to his business and his Shop Rite/Tabacco Plus family. He also completed electrical work for McDonald's throughout the state of Louisiana for many years. Ronnie was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Mire Counsel. A Rosary will be prayed Tuesday at 7:00 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne LA on Tuesday April 11, 2017 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm and on Wednesday April 12, 2017 from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.
