Leslie Paul Leger Duson, LA - Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at a 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Leslie Paul Leger, 77, who died Friday November 8, 2024 at his residence in Duson, LA. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Mausoleum in Rayne, LA. Rev. Connor Poirrier of St, Joseph Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Leslie retired from Columbia Gulf as a pipeline/compressor repairman in the natural gas industry. Survivors include his wife, Zona Wright Leger, two children, Shelli Leger Scott and spouse Jim Scott, Lance Leger and spouse Jessica Leger, six grandchildren, Brennen Leger, Estelle Leger, Landon Leger, Justin Scott and spouse Crystal Scott, Amanda Scott and spouse Riley Scott, Jonathan Scott, five great grandchildren, Alyssa, Zoey, Carter, Oliver, and Avelynn, two sisters, Mary Ellen Hathorn and spouse John Hathorn, Ann Smylie and husband Dave Smylie, two brothers, David Leger and spouse Linda Leger, Mitchell Leger and spouse Pam Leger, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley Leger and Lillian Hanks Leger, maternal grandparents, Issac and Elida Hanks, paternal grandparents, Eugene and Leonie Leger, infant sister, Charlotte Leger, niece, Suzzanne Smylie, mother-in-law, Clara Belle Boudreaux, father-in-law, William Wright, Jr., brother-in-law, Randy Wright. Pallbearers will be Brennen Leger, Ted Wright, Cy Link, Ryan Link, Jon Duffy, and Lance Arceneaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Coy Wright, Hunter Duffy, Andrew Leger, Scott Smylie, Tyler Leger, Trent Leger, and Michael Duffy. A Rosary will be prayed Monday, November 11, 2024 at 6:00 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.
