Debra Bodoin Allen Duson, LA - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 29, 2024, at a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church in Duson for Debra Bodoin Allen, 63, who died Friday, July 26, 2024, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Cemetery in Duson, LA. Father Aaron Melancon, Pastor of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Debbie was a native of Lafayette and a lifelong resident of Duson. She had a deep passion for life's pleasures. She found immense joy in visiting the casino where the thrill of the games and the camaraderie of fellow players made for many memorable evenings. Bingo was another beloved pastime providing her with countless hours of fun and excitement. Traveling was one of Debbie's greatest loves. She delighted in exploring new places and making unforgettable memories with those she held dear. Family and friends were the cornerstones of Debbie's life. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, whether it was a casual get-together, a festive celebration, or simply sharing a quiet moment. Her warmth and generosity touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Debbie was also a dedicated sports fan, passionately cheering on the New Orleans Saints and the LSU Tigers. Her loyalty to her teams was unwavering. Survivors include her husband, Dewey Allen, her daughter, Jessica and spouse Dexter Comeaux, grandchildren, Carson Comeaux, and Kye Comeaux. She was preceded in death by father, Noris Bodoin, mother, Edesse Meche Bodoin, brother, Ronald Latiolais, paternal parents, Arista and Elise Bodoin, maternal grandparents, Terrance and Octavia Cormier Meche. Pallbearers will be Kaine Guidry, Coy Guidry, Quinn Guidry, Blake Cary, Brent Atwell, and Thomas Hebert. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 29, 2024, in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home on Sunday July 28, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Monday July 29, 2024, from 8:00 am to 10:30 am.
