Cynthia Caillier Oliver Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Cynthia Caillier Oliver, 58, who died Saturday, October 8, 2022 at her residence. Interment will be in the St. Leo IV Cemetery in Rayne, LA. Rev. Brent Smith, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Cynthia was a 1982 Notre Dame High School graduate and received a Bachelor of Science in General Business degree from LSU with a concentration in Marketing. She was a Senior VP Relationship Manager for First National Bankers Bank for 14 years and a Senior Account Manager for NCR Corporation for 22 years. Her civic memberships included the Rotary Club Board of Directors, Chairman of the Public Image Committee, Charter Member of Rayne Kiwanis, Rayne Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Board Secretary, Acadia Parish Library Board, and Louisiana Bankers Association. Cynthia's genuine warmth, kindness, concern for others and positive energy are wonderful qualities that made her the exceptional wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Survivors include her two daughters, Morgan Kathryn Oliver, Madeline Elise Oliver, four sisters, Carolyn Caillier Dyer and spouse Larry Dyer, Arlene Caillier Chachere and spouse T.C. Chachere, Annette Caillier Corzine and spouse Bryan Corzine, Cathleen Caillier Bedel and spouse Danny Bedel, mother-in-law, Angela Stutes Oliver, two brothers-in-law, Craig Joseph Oliver and Curt David Oliver, eight nieces and nephews and thirteen great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Chet" Oliver, father, Calvin James Caillier, mother, Allie Spaetgens Caillier, and father-in-law, Joseph "Joe" Oliver. A Rosary will be prayed Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 7:00 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm and on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am.
