Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at a 10:00 am at New Wine Ministries Church for Connie Mary Breaux, 69, who died Friday September 19, 2025, at her residence in Rayne. Interment will be held at a later date. Pastor Shelton Clay New Wine Ministries Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral service. Connie was born and raised in the close-knit community of Rayne, Louisiana, where her joyful spirit and love for life touched everyone, she met. From a young age, Connie found happiness in music and movement-she loved to sing and dance, often filling rooms with laughter and rhythm. Her greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. A passionate sports fan, Connie rarely missed a basketball or football game, cheering on her favorite teams with unmatched enthusiasm. But perhaps what she was most known for-aside from her warm heart-was her iconic collection of hats. Whether it was a casual gathering or a special occasion, Connie never stepped out without one of her infamous hats, each one a reflection of her bold style and personality. Connie’s legacy lives on in the memories she created the love she gave, and the joy she spread. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Survivors include daughters, Dedra and spouse Willie Bias, and Demetria Breaux, sons, Dwayne and spouse Adrien Breaux, Sr., Dylan Breaux, her Grandchildren, Dondrakus Breaux, Dwayne Breaux, Jr., Asia Breaux, Saryiah Patton, Hannah Bias, Harley Bias, and great-grandchild, Remi Breaux. Connie is also survived by her sisters, Margaret Breaux Julian, Bonnie Breaux Evans, Myra Breaux and spouse Anthomy Thibo, and Michelle and spouse Bernard George, brothers, Terry spouse Florence Breaux, Jerry and spouse Stephanie Breaux, Gary and spouse Angelina Breaux. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, John Breaux, and Rose Breaux, brothers, Dorris Julian, Perry Breaux, sisters, Mona Breaux Bias, Dora Breaux Logan, Marie Breaux Pickens, Lillian Breaux Senegal, and Nila Breaux Lake, her nephews Sharone Creer, Jonathan Minix, and Richard Logan Jr., and her niece Sonia Evans The family requests that visitation be observed in New Wine Church 308 N.
