Bernice Breaux Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at a 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Bernice Breaux, 88, who died Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Ochsner Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne, LA. Fr. Henry Paul Antony, HGN, Parochial Vicar of St. Joseph Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Giftbearers will be his granddaughters. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Prevost Breaux, four daughters, Anne Breaux Regan and spouse Linus Regan of Crowley, LA, Sarah Breaux Plaisance and spouse Ed Plaisance of Rayne, LA, Rita Breaux Landry and spouse Patrick Landry of Youngsville, LA, Cathy Breaux of Rayne, LA, four sons, Edward "Joe" Breaux and spouse Ally Breaux of Garland, LA, Richard "John" Breaux and spouse Lorraine Breaux Egan, LA, Robert "Bob" Breaux and spouse Melody Breaux of Jackson, Alabama, Paul Thomas "Tom" Breaux and spouse Monique Breaux of Crowley, LA, twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, brother, Patrick Breaux and spouse Jean Breaux of Baton Rouge, LA. He was preceded in death by his father, Medice Breaux, mother, Rita Alleman Breaux, granddaughter, Sara Elizabeth Landry, infant daughter, Ann Breaux, infant son, Edward Breaux, four brothers, Edward Breaux, Dave Breaux, Gilford Breaux, Percy Breaux, one sister, Betty Lou Breaux. Pallbearers will be Adam Regan, Jeffery Regan, Chad Plaisance, Derek Plaisance, Joachim Breaux and Nathan Breaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Plaisance, Matthew Breaux and Bryant Huesers. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 29, 2023 in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
