Barbara Nell Wiltz Logan Rayne, LA - A Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara Nell Wiltz Logan, age 63, will be celebrated on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:30 AM in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, Rayne. Father Richard Wagner, Pastor of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, Rayne. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM in Gossen Funeral Home, with a rosary being recited at 8:00 AM. Ms. Logan passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 in a Lafayette hospital. Survivors include her children, Christopher Logan and wife, Tammie of Fayetteville, NC, Shawn Logan of Killeen, TX, Aaron Logan and wife, Whittney of Saginaw, MI, and Dawn Logan of Humble, TX; sisters, Mary Jane Anderson and husband, Louis of Port Arthur, TX, and Donna Wiltz of Rayne; brother-in-law, Preston Bernard of Scott; grandchildren, Derrell Lee, II, Javon Broussard, Tyreek Logan, Tiana Logan, Christian Logan, Amore' Logan, Erin Ware, Liyah McCurry, and Carter Logan; great-grandchild, Leland Broussard; and other children who were near and dear to her heart, SSGT Nathaniel Houston, Amon Cormier, DeAndre Broussard, LaPagedrea Broussard Phillips, and Jayci Conner. Preceding Ms. Logan in death were her parents, Presley Wiltz, Sr. and Adele Labba Wiltz; sisters, Elizabeth Wiltz, Mabel Wiltz Gothe, Mary Ann Wiltz, Lynette Wiltz Bernard, and Jeanette Ann Wiltz Broussard; brothers, Wilbert Wiltz, Willie Wiltz, Gilbert Wiltz, Elton John "Tony" Wiltz, Danny Wiltz, Presley Wiltz, Jr., and Harry "Frog" Wiltz; nephew, Hilton Martin; and grandchildren, Josiah Young and Liam Oscar Johnson. Serving as pallbearers are Christopher Logan, Shawn Logan, Aaron Logan, Javon Broussard, Darryl Senegal, Derrell Lee, II, Tyreek Logan, and Rufus Gothe, III; named as honorary pallbearers are Percy Logan, Christian Logan, Louis Anderson, Preston Bernard, Rufus Gothe, Jr., Donald Gothe, Blake Gothe, Kevin Wiltz, DeAndre Broussard, Damien Anderson, Justin Sonnier, John Wilton Rochon, and Wil "Reddy" Johnson.
