Alvin Joseph Falcon Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at a 12:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire for Alvin Joseph Falcon, 86, who died Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Oschner Lafayette General Medical Center Hospital in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Mire, LA. Rev. Kenneth Domingue, Pastor of St. John Berchmans Catholic Church in Cankton, LA will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Mr. Falcon graduated from St. Joseph High School in Rayne in 1952 then went on to serve his country in the United States Army. He worked at Heymann's in Lafayette as a manager. He later retired as a farmer in Acadia Parish. Survivors include wife, Barbara Noel Falcon of Rayne, one son, Alvin J. Falcon, Jr. and spouse Jennifer of Broussard, three daughters, Monica Falcon Simon and spouse Michael of Mire, Stephanie Falcon of Rayne, Rebecca Falcon Picard and spouse Jesse of Houston, TX, one sister, Audrey Falcon Alleman of Lafayette, one sister in law, Peggy Falcon of Rayne, seven grandchildren, Skye Credeur, Chase Simon, Corey Falcon, Kameron Falcon, Morgan Landry, Kaylee Picard, Wyatt Picard, Jessica Roche, two great grandchildren, Ezra Credeur, Lyla Credeur. He was preceded in death by father, Sosthene Falcon, mother, Lelia Credeur Falcon, two sisters, Martha Falcon Richard, Lou Ella Falcon, three brothers, Harold Falcon, James Falcon, Joseph Mabry Falcon. Pallbearers will be Chase Simon, Corey Falcon, Kameron Falcon, Wyatt Picard, Toby Falcon, Jonathan Dupuis, Blane Credeur. A Rosary will be prayed Friday, June 18, 2021 at 6:30 pm in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne LA on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm and on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.
